Video Description:

Hello and welcome back everyone. A French artist uses vivid colors to bring black and white history to life, and the results are stunning. Sébastien de Oliveira is an artist who specializes in illustration and photography, and for the past 17 years, he has been working as a retoucher for the fashion industry in the city of Paris. Sébastien loves history and five years ago he started showing interest in colorizing old black and white photos, particularly those that illustrate simple everyday life, in the 1930s to 1950s. His‌ ‌work‌ ‌is‌ ‌intricately‌ ‌detailed‌ ‌and‌ ‌captivates the audience with its splash of "warm vivid colours" that give off impressionist vibes. He has recently started sharing his work on his Instagram page and if you're interested to follow his work, please check out the details in the description of this video. We have chosen several examples of his work for this video, to show how historical photos, a gloomy world of the past suddenly erupts into life, like a color Cinemascope film. Where possible, AI facial animations have been added for a bit of extra flair. We hope you enjoy a piece of colorized history, old black and white photos colorized in front of your eyes.
