This absolutely stunning 1956 Bel Air has been treated to a body off frame restoration that is exceptional in every respect. From its gorgeous color combination to the outstanding fit and finish throughout, the quality is evident everywhere you look. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and comfort of this car combine to create an experience that far exceeds expectations. I've been around thousands of collector cars and I'm telling you this is one of the exceptional ones. If you like it, buy it, you won't regret it!

EXTERIOR: This '56 Bel Air hardtop wears one of the most striking color combinations you'll find. The teal pearl and white pearl finishes are both laid out beautifully, with a deep shine that's polished smooth as glass. The body is exceptionally straight, standing next to it the paint reflects like a mirror. Panel fit is outstanding, with precise gaps that are among the best you'll see on a '56 Chevrolet. The chrome and stainless trim has either been restored or replaced and sparkles from every angle. Details such as functional vent window flippers, dual mirrors, fingernail guards, and correct antenna all contribute to its authentic appearance. It sits with the perfect stance on 17-inch chrome Riddler wheels wrapped in Nitto performance tires, giving it a tasteful custom look. The glass has been replaced and has a soft tint. The weatherstrips have also been replaced, completing a show quality presentation.

INTERIOR: This is one of those interiors you won't want to get out of. For one, it's extremely comfortable, and two, the fit and finishes are incredibly satisfying. All of the interior metal trim is painted blue to match the exterior, while the custom upholstered door panels retain a tasteful 1956 style design. The power seats are exceptionally comfortable with firm cushions and countersunk center sections, and there isn't a wrinkle in the upholstery. Fresh carpet, headliner and visors complete the crisp presentation. A custom center console adds cup holders and a comfortable armrest. The dash is beautifully restored with working gauges, and the air conditioning is so neatly integrated it looks factory, utilizing the original style vents and control panel. They even cleverly disguised additional A/C vents inside a tissue dispenser beneath the center of the dash. A beautiful custom steering wheel sits on a tilt column, while a retro stereo plays through kick panel speakers and 6x9s in the rear shelf. It's a beautifully executed interior that combines classic '56 style with modern comfort.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is a 1956 Corvette 265 with dual quads, rated at 225 horsepower. It retains the factory aluminum intake and finned Corvette valve covers, although the valve covers have been polished for a little extra sparkle. The correct dual-quad carburetors are topped with a sharp looking pair of air cleaners, and the original batwing air cleaner is also included. Up front, a polished A/C compressor sits on one side and a polished alternator on the other. It also features power steering and a modern power brake system. A polished aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps everything running cool. Overall, it's a very neat installation that's exceptionally clean and well detailed.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid, jamb and inside compartment are neatly painted white. It has been custom finished with a carpeted floor and a fitted spare tire cover. A Chevrolet “curtain” dresses up the back panel and conceals the CD changer, amplifier and Optima battery for a clean presentation. It is also complete with a jack assembly and fire extinguisher.

UNDERSIDE: This Chevy received a full body-off-frame restoration, and it shows. The floors are pristine and finished in the correct factory-style red oxide primer, while the chassis and frame are cleanly restored in black. The steering and suspension have been completely rebuilt, with an upgraded front sway bar and Bilstein gas shocks in the rear for improved handling. It's also been upgraded with disc brakes at all four wheels, and the fuel system was replaced during the restoration. A dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers gives it a great sound, and the e-brake assembly is fully functional. Looking up at the drivetrain, everything still looks fresh and clean. The transmission has been upgraded to a 700R4 overdrive automatic, sending power through a custom driveshaft to a 4.10 posi rear end.

A tiny kitten found itself in serious trouble after falling into a pond and becoming trapped beneath a floating platform in Guangzhou, China.

Soaking wet and shivering, the kitten desperately clung to the side while its worried mother paced nearby, repeatedly trying to reach down and pull her baby to safety.

Thankfully, a passerby noticed what was happening and immediately stepped in. The Good Samaritan gently lifted the frightened kitten from the water and reunited it with its anxious mom. After making sure her little one was safe, the mother cat picked up her kitten and carried it away.

A Canada goose was in serious danger after becoming tangled in fishing line at Halls Pond Park. The line was wrapped tightly around the goose’s leg and, if left untreated, could have cut off circulation and caused permanent damage.

Nancy rushed in to help and carefully removed the fishing line before checking the goose for injuries. Thankfully, the rescue happened in time, and there was no serious damage.

After making sure everything was okay, Nancy carried the goose back toward the flock for a beautiful reunion. Moments later, the flock took off together.

This wildlife rescue is an important reminder of how dangerous discarded fishing line and trash can be for birds and other animals. Keeping parks, ponds, and wildlife habitats clean can save lives.

EXTERIOR: Pretty and proper! The Gulf stream Aqua paint stands out in a crowd, and quality wise holds its own in a showroom full of pristinely restored classics double the price. It was applied with great attention to detail then polished to a finish that is reflective and smooth to the touch. The panels are all nicely aligned with the doors opening and closing easily. The chrome bumpers and remaining brightwork are sparkly and shiny. The front grille has been replaced and the headlights upgraded to halogen units. It has factory style turn signal indicators in the dual hood scoops. The rubber seals and fuzzy strips have been replaced. The black lower body stripe nicely complements the interior. The stance is right and it's sitting pretty on a set of 15 in Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: Nicely upgraded! I instantly noticed the upgraded bucket seats when I sat in the car. They have been reupholstered and re-cushioned with extra bolster to keep you in place when cutting the curves. It has seat belts front and back. The lower part of the dash and steering column have been nicely painted and the dash pad has been replaced. It has factory style gauges including a tachometer. All the lenses are clear and easy to read. Additional Auto meter gauges help monitor the vitals. The three spoke steering wheel has a really nice grip to it. The radio has been upgraded to a digital stereo with extra speakers in the kick panels and rear package shelf. The door panels, levers, headliner, sun visors, and carpeting have all been replaced. Even the floor mats are really nice with custom Mustang embroidery. And of course we can't forget about the upgraded Hurst 5 speed manual shifter begging to be thrown around.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Street beast! The 347-500hp stroker is built with high-end components both inside and out. Upgrades include H beam rods, JP Pistons, aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, ported and polished aluminum Edelbrock performer RPM heads, ceramic coated headers, MSD ignition, Holley 780 carburetor, fuel pressure regulator and more. It is equipped with power steering and an upgraded wilwood master cylinder. Shock Tower supports and additional bracing help prevent twisting under power. The horn and squirters are hooked up. The underside of the hood, fenderwells, and firewall are all neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully carpeted! The underside of the trunk lid and inside the jamb is nicely painted with the same shine as the exterior. The weather strip has been replaced. The battery was relocated to the trunk inside a properly vented and secured aluminum safety box.

UNDERSIDE: This Mustang's undercarriage has been significantly upgraded for improved performance and handling. Up front, it features an upgraded suspension system with gas shocks, adjustable strut rods, a larger sway bar, plus rack-and-pinion steering. Welded in tubular frame connectors tie the front and rear of the chassis together, greatly reducing body flex and improving handling. Out back, it has 1 1⁄4-inch drop reverse eye leaf springs with upgraded bushings and a performance shackle kit, along with gas shocks. The 3 inch stainless exhaust system is impressive with an X-pipe, and MagnaFlow mufflers for both performance and sound. The fuel system has been replaced, and braking is handled by Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four corners. Looking up at the engine you'll find an extra capacity oil pan and high torque starter. The Tremec five-speed manual transmission uses a Pro Ripper shifter, dual friction clutch and a billet flywheel. A custom driveshaft leads to a heavy duty custom 9-inch rear end with 3.70 Yukon posi gears and Moser 31 spline axles. The rust free floors were sandblasted and sealed.
