Added I was born in 1942--a few years before the "baby boomers" (I think), but I remember all of these. As far as I'm concerned, I'm living in a different world now. I miss the "other" world.

Added I'm a boomer, towards the tail end, but I remember all of these. I don't want to go back to that time. I like what I have now. Just wish the country wasn't so divided now.

Added Oh Mel~~~Where can I START?
Being born in the 40's I REMEMBER ALL and also EXPERIENCED some of these MEMORIES in 1972 allso!
First~~~1964~~~Watched the Beetles on TV on the Ed Sullivan Show and LOVED their Music at once!! Second~~Took my girlfriend to her First Drive-Inn to SEE the Movie Hard Days Night by the Beetles! Married her in 1965 and then found out she HATES the Beetles!
Fast Forward to 1972 and moving into our second home. We moved in and I saw a "MILKMAN" in front of our home for the neighbors and yelled down to see IF he had an extra milk as we had just moved into ur home the night before and we were really tired from the 50 mile move. He said sure and I was SHOCKED to even SEE a Milkman in Huron, Ohio.
Next Morning i called our parents and all of a SUDDEN a VOICE came on the Line Saying, YOUR NUMBER PLEASE! I said I'm trying to call my parents in Euclid and she said AGAIN....YOUR NUMBER PLEASE! I said what and she then explained that I had to give my number to complete the cal! WOW...I SAID....a FLASHBACK to the 50's in 1972!
God,,,,times were INDEED BETTER Mel and i WISH it was that way again!
OH...my wife also bought me a caculator in 1968 for y business too and I really loved it even though I was always good in math.
GREAT MEMORIES Mel~~~Great Memories!
