Our arrangement of the 80s classic “Big Love” was commissioned by Stephen and Laura Hunt for their 25th wedding anniversary! We wanted to do justice to this iconic classic, so we arranged the whole song for harps and vocals and we absolutely love how it turned out! We think the harps give the song a beautiful and ethereal quality, and it was fun for us to try singing bluesy vocals. We recorded this track on our electro-acoustic Concert Grand harps, but filmed on our electric lever harps since we couldn’t get our Concert Grands safely to our filming location. This video was filmed by our mom on our phone. Everything you hear in our arrangement is exactly how we perform it live with our 2 harps and voices: no backing tracks, loops, or harp overlays.
