Description
We did not put him back on the street.
You can see his new home in the background, at the beginning and at the end of the video.
Lady who adopted him didn't wanted to be recorded, but trust us, she met him with food and a huge smile.
Comments
- Dottie McFadden Added After all that you just take the dog out in the country and let him loose to fend for himself, or did I miss sometning.
- Lovey Added awful people who allowed him to get like that and wonderful people who took care of him and adopted him - there are good people in this world
- Betty Added amazing. Pour dog had been neglected so long. He seemed to like the attention. Amazing
- Carol Segal Added What wonderful people who gave a new life to a dog.
- Debra Added What a sweet dog.
- Marylyn Added God Bless you for the loving gentle care you gave to this sweet boy.
- Lydia Added The dog was so well behaved, he knew he was being helped by caring people.
- Patrick Added That woman is great and very caring. A beautiful dog for sure. Great video.
- Glenda Fields Added This is among your absolute greatest videos yet. The lady groomer is so patient, tender, loving and caring. I hope she keeps him. She is so filled with gentleness and love. The dog is a perfect patient too! It knows it is safe hands!
- Sarah Added I have never seen such a patient dog before. He was just so good during the whole process and I just KNOW he enjoyed that bath! I cringed seeing those parasites in his fur....poor baby! People can be so horrible to animals.....I support anti-cruelty laws for all states! Sending you a cup of JAVA! God bless!
- Jerry Added Thank you as I thought you left the dog there. Just can't imagine someone leaving this dog and not taking it to a rescue. Such a horrible condition it was in.
- Mary Jane Added What a lovely dog he is, wish they could find his former owner and punish them, no animal deserves to be abused and he was abused, by apathy.
- CharMaine Added Stunning transformation. He seems to be a docile dog anyway, maybe 8-9 yrs old, but he was more so due to the 15 ticks. The groomer KNOWS this. I'm confident they took him to a vet for treatment. Ticks slowly kill an animal (they feed off their blood making them lethargic, hence he's calm) and 15 is an awful lot. Once he got meds I bet in a day or two he was running around like a puppy. That was an easy 10-12 lbs of matted fur. Such a beautiful rescue story. May the Lord bless all involved. TY Mel for featuring this precious story.
- Richard Copeland Added Wonderful video. I almost cried when I first saw the dog; but, I was feeling better as the trimming started. A special TY for commenting that the dog was adopted. Up 'til reading that I was left with a sad feeling.
- Carolyn Added Best video I have seen in a long time.
- Paul Moshay Added "He who does it for the least also does it for me" Jesus
- Carmen Added Amazing the transformation…from really awful to the beautiful, docile dog. Credit to ALL who made it possible and hoping he’s placed in a forever home that will love and care for him. Thanks Mel for this wonderful video.
- Lynne Henderson Added Well, that was awful. They just walked off and left the poor thing only to look like that again??? How terrible. Certainly NOT a happy ending. No food - nothing?
- JustMe Added That poor dog. I don't know if people realize but mats hurt, and shaving them also hurts. That poor baby with all those fleas running around. The woman shaving him did such a great job. I'm so glad people came to rescue that poor baby.
- Johnny Added Wonderful video. The couple should be praised for their care for this outcast.
