This is among your absolute greatest videos yet. The lady groomer is so patient, tender, loving and caring. I hope she keeps him. She is so filled with gentleness and love. The dog is a perfect patient too! It knows it is safe hands!

I have never seen such a patient dog before. He was just so good during the whole process and I just KNOW he enjoyed that bath! I cringed seeing those parasites in his fur....poor baby! People can be so horrible to animals.....I support anti-cruelty laws for all states! Sending you a cup of JAVA! God bless!

Thank you as I thought you left the dog there. Just can't imagine someone leaving this dog and not taking it to a rescue. Such a horrible condition it was in.

What a lovely dog he is, wish they could find his former owner and punish them, no animal deserves to be abused and he was abused, by apathy.

Stunning transformation. He seems to be a docile dog anyway, maybe 8-9 yrs old, but he was more so due to the 15 ticks. The groomer KNOWS this. I'm confident they took him to a vet for treatment. Ticks slowly kill an animal (they feed off their blood making them lethargic, hence he's calm) and 15 is an awful lot. Once he got meds I bet in a day or two he was running around like a puppy. That was an easy 10-12 lbs of matted fur. Such a beautiful rescue story. May the Lord bless all involved. TY Mel for featuring this precious story.

Wonderful video. I almost cried when I first saw the dog; but, I was feeling better as the trimming started. A special TY for commenting that the dog was adopted. Up 'til reading that I was left with a sad feeling.

Well, that was awful. They just walked off and left the poor thing only to look like that again??? How terrible. Certainly NOT a happy ending. No food - nothing?

That poor dog. I don't know if people realize but mats hurt, and shaving them also hurts. That poor baby with all those fleas running around. The woman shaving him did such a great job. I'm so glad people came to rescue that poor baby.
