I was a junior in high school in 1958, my only niece was born that year. Looking back, I think Laci Fay has captured it fairly well - just a bit over-the=top Hollywoodish! Most of us who were young folks at that time ever saw a completely '50's house. We all lived with the pieces of the past, most from the 30's and 40's. The garish colors depicted in this video were just in evidence in the auto colors, etc - certainly not anyone's whole house! Laci Fay 'got it' however with her makeup!!! I enjoyed the video, Mel.
