First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.

All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

A Storm took down a tree that was the home to a crows family. When the tree was put to the side, a boy heard something squeaking and discovered a tragedy. One of the baby crows survived. Now he is my funny and curious friend.
Please leave your ideas in the comments on what I should try to teach him. He loves to interact with me and he is really enjoying to learn new tricks.

If you ever find a baby crow in need:
Best is to take it to a bird rescue centre for they have all the knowledge and experience to give the bird what it needs.
In case you have to take care of it yourself, please give it a safe place away from pets and small children.
If it is really small, it will still need head. (too hot is dangerous too - make sure he doesn't over heat) a lamp could work or a heating blanket. What also works is a bottle filled with hot water with a towel around it.
They don't drink! They get their moist from wet food.
You could feed them bread mixed with wet cat food and a boiled or raw egg - make all of this wet (like in the video)
What also works really well is soaked puppy pellets.
Good luck - they make great friends.

Comments

  • Deanna Added Perhaps a "jewelry box" with a combination required for him to open it. Inside, his shiny treasures. I know they love to collect pretty things.
  • Mary Added He’s very smart and motivated to please you. Can you play music and teach him to hear the beat and dance?
  • Love Added great person, very nice story
  • BA Added I love this man. He has such a big heart. He buried the deceased bird instead of dumping him somewhere as most people would. He reminds me of me. I carry a shovel in my trunk to scoop roadkill off the road to given it some type of dignity that the killer didn't. Thanks so much Mell.
  • Bobbie Added I loved it. Peanut butter might be good for it as it is high in protein.
  • mimi Added too bad the other little guy didn't survive.
  • Jan Added The crow needs a birdbath in which his feet don't slip out from underneath him. The floor of the pan is too slippery. Check out cat toys on the "Chewy" website. There is tons of stuff there that a bird might like.
