A half hour interview with CBS's Steve Hartman in Ekalaka, Montana during 2002 while he traveled the country guided by a dart! A dear friend he is still at his super feature reporting On the Road Friday evenings on CBS Evening News. In my opinion one of today's best feature reporters in the business. It was about 420 miles each way to get this interview but well worth it. His photographer Les Rose ran the main camera and Brian Crosby shot the other camera. A sports guy, Brian is now a coach at CMR High in Great Falls. During the interview I asked Steve if he would still be traveling and covering the great feature stories years later. You will hear his answer.
