All eyes on Great Dane puppy. Sunflower Farm Creamery #Video
Description
Every time we let let our new puppy Arthur out for a walk, all the goats come to the fence to watch him very closely. Domesticated dogs are a goats biggest predator in our area, often their predator drive kicks in when a goat runs away and there can be unfortunate results. So the goats are smart to watch any dog carefully. We are trying to train the puppy to be unfazed by the chickens, cats and goats so that he will be less likely to chase them when he gets older. So far it really seems to be working. Goats in a herd have a really cool way of sticking together to protect each other and also they warn each other with sneezes and snorts that something is around that could be dangerous. They also share their contagious joy! Hope you are connecting with your human herd! Community makes all the difference in challenging times!
