Description

This afternoon Rhubarb had three doelings and one buckling! I was in the barn at the time and didn't hear her make a peep. When I went to see how she was doing there were 4 kids in there! They are about an hour old here. Amazing. Her doe from last year Dilly Bean, had to come to take a peek at her new siblings. She has been missing her mama in the group stall, and was not sure what to make of so many new additions borrowing her mama's attention. Greta also had to get a good look at her new neighbors. The barn cats were more interested in an afternoon nap. The new kids' names are Hubble, Nova, Phoebe (an irregular satellite of Saturn with two-tone coloration) and Halley. The more they dry off the cooler their coloring becomes!
