Phin is a very special boy . . . I do get a bit nervous, of course, I wouldn't want him to get hurt; but I also think I would get used to it as well. Hey, we all got quirks, his are just a little more obvious.
We adopted 2 a few years back. A little more work than "regular" cats but, no regrets!
I had a cat with that issue also and he was the best cat, so loving and gentle, especially with my toddler son.
