Description

Captured over a mild Minnesota winter, this wildlife camera on the Mithrandir Trail has given us a rare look into the lives of two local wolf packs—the Mithrandir Pack and the Nashata Pack. Watch as these wolves, along with other wildlife, make their way through this remote trail from January to May. Despite unusually warm weather and little snow, the camera captured incredible scenes, proving to be one of our most successful setups.

  • Johnny Added Just beautiful! The wolves' eyes, the patient bobcat with the hair tufts at the ends of its ears, the brown marten, the graceful deer, and the bears! The second one reminds me of Trump! All very good, many thanks. Pity that the video ended with some scuffling around the camera.
  • Mary Jane Added Loved this, so cool to see the animals up close. Wonder what they think of the camera?
  • Su B Added The lynx just glances at the camera. The wolf always makes a note of it. And, of course, the bears try to eat it! Just once I'd like to see what the camera looks like from their perspective.
