Watch this wild baby seal overcome his fear of the water!

he knew and he needed to swim but he didn't want to didn't really want to get in the water as part of the research we're walking through the colonies all the time we're headed back to our snowmobiles and we just like came across this pub we were giving in space crawled closer to us he was being a lot more vocal than most pups just kept talking at us the way that the pup was creeping to the hole it was almost like the pup thought that we were encouraging it the month when there Wiens actually lead them to figure out life on their own they taught their pup how to swim and maybe how to hunt under the ice a little bit so the pub's probably been able to swim before with his mom but when he's by himself in the little scary it's like taking the training wheels off [Music] beep worked his way to the hole and started like touching it with his nose and blowing bubbles I think it's kind of cool like you're kind of being a part of that process for that pup to actually become comfortable in the water and make the underground world his like home he just took took a bit of time to like slowly creep forward [Music] he kept creeping closer in and then he just kind of felt it [Music] but then later we just look over and this pops working itself out you made some distance it's just kind of cool to see in there they're just overcoming their fear of getting into the water kind of get a snapshot of this stuff slight like comment and subscribe
