Most people think that all foxes are nocturnal, but that’s not the case!
Most species are actually “crepuscular” which means they are most active at dawn and dusk. Both Arctic and Red foxes are crepuscular. Grey foxes are however Nocturnal.
In captivity, however, they adapt their wake and sleep cycles more to their human companions!
