Nong Peng and Payom are quite upset when they hear the sound of other elephants who are chained up next to the skywalk project. These captive elephants cry out for some reason, and the herd of Khamla responds with incense and compassion. Almost all captive working elephants live a desperate life of chains and abuse. Free-roaming natural behaviors are a dream for all but those who have been proferred a new life with dignity and respect. This video is evidence of the need to break the chains of all working elephants and provide an alternative to traditional tourist venues with inalienable rights protected by law. You can hear and see the distress in their behavior over the captive elephants. I don't blame them for being pissed off. I know if I was there, I would probably be in jail for opening a can of whip-ass on the handlers of the captive elephants. If stupid self-serving tourists stopped engaging in the poachers' businesses, there would be no need for these creatures to be forced into labor and horribly mistreated. Get a clue people! You don't need an elephant ride, you ain't that damn special. Idiots.
