First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.

All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Comments

  • Bernice Added I’m sold! Are they as “ delicate” as a horse is,needing special care, vet etc?
  • CharMaine Added I am now certainly much more educated in the arena of "Donkey". They are precious and I've been around a few. They were friendly and funny too. Love all of God's creatures. He gave them to us so we could enjoy them. Thanks for making me a little smarter, Mel. :-)
  • mercedes Added My first riding animal was a donkey. We lived on a farm and I rode that donkey all over, as a child! Later in life I had donkeys again, and even had a "donkey ride" concession. The people
and especially the kids loved the uniqueness of donkey rides vs pony rides. I also had a "Mammoth Jack" donkey that I rode everywhere.
  • BA Added I loved this video Mel, Thanks
  • Deb Added i LEARNED SO MUCH & IT WAS FASCINATING. NOW I WANT 2 DONKEYS.
  • [email protected] Added Adorable, love donkeys. Thanks Mel.
  • mimi Added donkeys are darling. p.s. i've seen the lady that is in this video in a few other videos. does she do the narration for the video? she's very good.
  • Mary Jane Added Very interesting, I knew nothing about donkeys until I watched this video. Thanks for educating me Mel!
  • CONCERNED about Donkey Abuse ~ Added Is it only me, that thinks that the larger donkey, is trying his(her) hardest to get that awful, controlling, and distracting piece of equipment, that is ruining it's friend, family member, or mate's chances of feeling and staying safe.. due to the constant distracting scratchy pain it is inflicting.. and how it is interferring with his friends peripheral eye sight...
so that it can't feel safe to know what is going on around it, as well as providing an opportunity for man to control everything about it.. leaving it much more vulnerable than it was created to be>>> etc etc??
  • Lola Added loved the Video!! I like Donkey's!!! But I alway's was scared of them!! As a child we had one that was a bit mean!!!! It would chase us!!! Maybe it was just playing?????
  • Kathy Added Not surprisingly, Donkeys have many traits as other animals and also humans such as needing friends around them. In some respects, all living beings are similar....just in different bodies.
  • Beth Added Love her videos about animals - she is GREAT!! thank you!
  • Mari Added I did not know how wonderful donkeys are until I rescued one (Zeke) who needed a home. He had the company of my horses and sheep. It was hilarious to use a hammer for repairing a wood fence. He would stand in the way of my backhand strike on the nail. He would also pull on my jeans pocket or belt loop. He had to be put down at about age 40. I miss him so much!
  • dixie Added Thank you Mel! I follow a donkey sanctuary in England on Facebook. This video made me happy!
  • Adele Added 11 Donkeys get jealous and push another donkey away to get attention
12 When haltered do not pull on a donkey. They will pull back and cement their feet to the ground. You must do a quick pull and release and your donkey will come with you.
