Syd's condition broke my heart. It was clear immediately that he could not eat and was nearly starved because of it. I'm so glad you sought vet care for him immediately. He knew he needed help desperately and was at the end of his "rope" and life. God bless you. I've helped cats for over 50 years and taken them in and will continue to do so whenever one needs help.
