I just got to this one but what an outstanding rescue. Free, finally free. Agree with Connie, let us thank God . . . and yes, that person that chained him up will get his just rewards.

these kind of stories break my heart, but thank the Good Lord for the rescue groups, to give the bear a second chance at life. I'll leave it to God to punish the initial person that chained him up.

My hope that whoever had control of that bear that chained him up gets prosecuted to the extent of the law. How would he like to be confined like that????

What was their purpose in keeping this bear chained? Stupid and cruel for sure. I'm so happy he was rescued and given a chance at a better life. Thank you to the rescue group!

Impossible to understand anyone who mistreats animals. I hope they got just punishment for chaining this poor bear. I'm so happy he was rescued, and is now leading a much better life...though still not the life in the wild he should be having. Thanks, Four Paws, for what you do!
