Red Squirrel Kittens Leave the Nest Box

Watching the Red Squirrel kittens on their first day out of the nest box is always a hoot. Mom pretty much gives up on controlling them and any though of keeping a low profile is quickly out the window. I feed these very young squirrel just sunflower seeds and not unsalted peanuts - there will be time enough for peanuts later! Enjoy.....
