We introduced Mintra to NamThip, and it was a truly tender moment. Mintra approached NamThip with such gentleness, using her trunk to delicately touch NamThip's short tail, while NamThip reciprocated the curiosity, showing interest in Mintra's beautiful tail.
However, what truly touched our hearts was NamThip's response to Mintra's love and affection. She let out soft moans and seemed to chatter incessantly, at times displaying signs of nervousness and uncertainty, likely stemming from never having been with her own mother or other elephants since infancy. NamThip struggled to articulate her overwhelming emotions, but she found solace in conversing with Mintra for a long time.
Though none of us can decipher their communication, it's evident that Mintra understands NamThip's language the best. We hope that through these exchanges, NamThip can find a safe space to release her pent-up frustrations and painful past to someone who listens and empathizes.
