this dance was great, even though I agree with the comment which said "this was NOT 'the jerk' ! (it was much better than the original jerk -- the way we did it in high school in the 1960s was: keep your feet mostly in one place and move your upper body forward and back with a snap, and wave your arms and you could turn your head from side to side... -- one of the easiest dances -- anybody could do it. "Do the jerk, baby -- do the jerk now."

I know, I know, but I'm a purist. If you're going to a song that is all about a dance, just do the dance. Yeah, there were a few movements. Or, maybe I'm the only one old enough to remember The Jerk.
