This story of how pebbles get their smooth is a lot like our lives, when you think about it. We hit our teen years with some jagged edges, so we have a tendency to rebel against our parents, teachers, society, etc. God willing and with some effort, rough rocks can turn into rounded pebbles. Each choice or move we make (decisions, friendships, career choices) creates another opportunity for reshaping. Our life is influenced by many factors over time. Eventually creating a noticeable transformation in (the rock and) our character. Personally, I find it fascinating.
First comes the natural then comes the spiritual.
