Miniature Horse Team Training | Coastal Path | Woodland & In to Town!
Description
In this video I take my big little minis out exploring along some of Cornwall's stunning coastal paths before dropping down into the woods to practise going all terrain with my mini team. Then I swap minis and head into town with my three new mini colts to help teach them to lead.

[Music] [Music] I'm Emma Massengale horse trainer and adventurer good morning everybody this morning we're about with the mini ISA so I've got Albert a nice tan suit Percy on cake and take these back don't you be ill over winter so she's not very much at all actually none of them very much tall because we've been wallowing around in the bud but it definitely feels like this morning Spring has definitely sprung for like a tadpole who sprouted legs it will find a way out of the water and it breaks the sunshine it's very exciting down in the woods I'm hoping to be able to teach the ponies to be able to hit Chuck's a one behind the other like a trained string of horses basically the ponies are fantastic at being loose I mean they're great fun at liberty and they follow me and call them but they all come and we have loads of great fun walking along with them all but not everywhere it's safe to have them loose times they've got to learn to be hitched together and just follow me along maybe for road crossings or you know dodgy terrain things like that so this morning we're gonna do a little bit of a training exercise getting them feeling a little bit more caught and hopefully give them a good experience and just play around with some different ideas of how to tie them up and hit the mark one behind the other so it'll be interesting to see could be chaos could be mayhem who knows [Music] [Music] okay we're ready for the off nice a little piggy back really good you keep going on we're very lucky so hover with us say yeah okay testing out how to hit them together what is the safety in funding I think the elastic so we'll see how they go [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so much fun to do get up and stand as the real piece conceal it Whiteface naughtiness right there but now they've been great considering it's the first time they've been hit together like that thank you really well [Music] oh my gosh let's go back in the lorry perfect saying I'm going on so with me over the top as crazy playing completely but that kick mark is absolutely epic it was so nice and so cool let's get free throws but okay thank you guys really really good trip service hit worth well at the Miss muffets well I thought of starting with the Bundy and between them ties between that was gonna be a good idea the kids forgiving it while they're learning just gives them a bit of an extra freedom you know they can move their head and grade the head down and all that stuff but actually as I went along I thought it was it was probably more than interests that helped because they just you know themselves against a little bit cool but swap that out for a bit of rape instead the bungee cord and I think where we can check and such such and such cheeky little chaps the hilarious [Music] hi everyone we're on our way to viewed at the moment which is my little seaside town and I'm in search of people commotion car traffic all sorts of things and in the back of the lorry I've got my little kindergartens I've got my three little tiny miniature Colts and they're going for a bit of experience I couldn't find it better than being at home because I live in the countryside in the middle of nowhere we just take them out on the road I have to go for a long time before you might see any sort of traffic or commotion or people but also you tend to just come across like one tractor or one car all of a sudden and I do find that is the best way to introduce them to cars and traffic and buses and things like that I always all my Lords big or small I always put into the lorry take the round down to Butte and there's some great little bridges and there's a beach there and there's me go up through and some of the busier parts and yeah it's just a great exposure for the ponies so we're going and see what the little fellas make at home I've been leading them around while I've been mucking out and doing jobs like selling maintenance they started to get the idea and what it's like to be led they're getting better back there but they're still very very green I mean it's very early days but we've all got to start somewhere happening so this is going to be their first little outing [Music] [Music]
