First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.

All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

At the time of this video, Julian is still looking for a home. What puts most people off is not his fussy character, but his age and the heart condition he suffers from.

He was rescued by Save a Greek Stray, for donations please go here: https://www.saveagreekstray.org/en/su...

  • BA Added Thank you Ms Valia for caring for these animals when others ignore them.
  • Neville Added Loved the story and love the way Ms Valia Orfanidou narrates the journey. Ms Valia you are a gifted narrator. God Bless you all who are devoted to saving animals from the savagery of the few evil humans on this planet
  • CharMaine Added The old adage comes to mind: Treat others the way YOU want to be treated. This woman is a saint. What a mess he was, and indeed may the Lord bless all those that participated in his recovery. Julian, you have a lot of life in front of you, go live it well sweetheart. Amazing the transformation, a pair of sheers and dedication can make; and a whole lot of love, attention & acceptance can do for the Spirit. So good to see such a happy ending to the story and the beginning of a renewed attitude toward life.
  • Toni Added I think this is the worst condition that I've ever seen a neglected unloved and abandoned dog and it makes me sad and mad as HELL. My first two dogs were Poodles, one black, Jacques. and the second one white, Le Beau. There's just no excuse for this poor dog to suffer like he did and it was done to him by a very cruel person. Having had two Poodles and know how their hair grows it looks like this poor boy was not taken care of for at least 6 to 10 months.
This is why I started getting rescue dogs to try and save them from the cruel people in this world.
WHO EVER ABANDONED THIS DOG, I HOPE THEY ROT IN HELL.
  • Lynn Added wow.Thank you so much for rescuing tis poor soul. This turned out wonderful.!!
  • Deanna Added Heart Wrenching!!!
  • Sarah Added This video broke my heart and the mended it little by little as Julian emerged. I love the narrator. She let her concern shine through as the story went along. Thank God for people who CARE!
  • Lola Added How sad to see a little dog looking like that!!!!! It makes me sick to my stomach!!!! I can't understand people that will do that to an Animal!!!! If you don't want it, take it to a Vet and drop it off!!!
  • Patrick Added Absolutely a beautiful and heartwarming story of a poor little dog that was given a second chance at living the life he deserved. God bless all that gave him the love and attention he needed.
  • Carolyn Added Good dog video
  • mercedes Added How sad! I hope that Julian got a good home. I would think that somebody would have rescued him from the street before all the time he spent suffering. I assume this is in Greece? maybe things are different there.
  • allie werhan Added In such cases of heavy matting, why do the caregivers always shave the fur off in one big piece? It seems doing it in sections would be more productive, although certainly not as dramatic. I am very relieved and grateful for the results, and that the caregivers chose to let the little guy be his true self afterwards. I hope he found a great home and people who really love him.
  • Sheri Added Wow what a mess for that poor little Dog. It is so good we have people that care for the pets left out to care for themselves. Thank you care givers.
  • simon Added Amazing transformation amazing rescue amazing lady xx
  • BA Added I wonder how many of your viewers responded with a donation to help continue to care for Julian??
  • Jana Added Thank you for sharing this remarkable story, amazing both from the dog's perspective and the human's. It reminds us of the light within us all, and the love we share as living beings.
  • PEGGY Added My husband and I watched this twice. I'm so choked up right now , I can hardly write this . I'm so Thankful that Julian is alright now and Happy . Thank you to all the care givers that gave him his life back . There are so many Wonderful People in This World and , Thank you to our Lord up above . Thank you Mel .
  • maureen w. Added God bless that lady for picking him up and caring for him. Sad to think people could walk by him for so long, and do nothing. Julien is a precious gift from God. He has life renewed. Amen.
  • Wandakate Added How on earth anyone could allow that poor dog to be in the condition to begin with is heartbreaking and just incomprehensible to me, just terrible. But thank GOD for the people who rescued Julian and gave him the best life he could have until the end. Maybe even the heart condition can be fixed. One can hope anyway. That was a good ending to a sad story.
  • [email protected] Added My heart just broke for this dog instantly when I heard the part of the owner dying and they put him outside and just left him!! Not even a DOG deserves to be treated like that. I am so very happy he was rescued and the fur was trimmed away. I knew it was a poodle the minute I saw the nose!! I hope he enjoys the rest of the life he has left!!!
