Cindy - The cop was the party above the law! He had the driver's license number. He had the car license number. If she didn't want to sign the ticket, he could have said: "OK lady, I will just turn this over to the prosecutor and let him take this through the courts. I guarantee you, it will cost you more than $80.00." But to taser her was criminal assault and deserving of a hefty thumping by her friends and family.
That lady who was pulled over for her broken tail light really had a lot of spunk.
Another stellar presentation Mel. Remember Bob, no one is above the law, not even a country girl. I think maybe she wouldn't take the ticket, doubt he was trying to get cash from her.
That cop tazering that lady with a broken tail light because she wouldn't pay him $80.00 was an abomination. A cop doesn't collect money at the scene of the infraction. He should have just let her go and turned the matter over to the prosecutor where she would have been granted due process. If that was my mother, I would have found that cop and did more to him than tazer him. He would never have forgotten me!!!
