After crossing the river and about to walk into the forest, something alarmed these 3 beautiful girls - HomNuan, Aungkham and Ratanakham - and they had a discussion about it, finally deciding to return to the other side of the river. Elephants can be so flamboyant in their vocalizations. Concern for one another is uppermost on their mind. It is a natural response to perceived threat. Yikes! Either they had their barrel of coffee and are now amped up and got a lot to say or there is an earthquake underfoot and they can feel it shifting. I don't know but that is what comes to mind. Shout it in the valley kiddos! Move!!!! Still, magnificent creatures to watch.
