Journey of the weak elephant Yai Boon

To rescue an elephant , the most challenging part is the transport. Especially for the old and weak Elephant. Sometimes it takes more than twenty hours that our team must be awake to monitor at all times. As we have transported many elephants on our rescue journeys , we use the normal truck . We have no special Elephant Transportation . We have to modify our truck as possible to be more comfortable for the elephant. To transport Yai Boon , we passed through heavy rain storms, and we covered our old girl as best as possible to keep her warm from a cold rain. She was tough and patient. The truck stopped for the vet to check her condition and to let Yai Boon take a nap. We are so happy that Yai Boon stood strong until reaching our gates. Welcome home beautiful girl at Elephant Nature Park. From each day forward, we will do any thing to bring you to health and happiness.
