Description

Native to the Americas, the average hummingbird weighs 5 grams - or just as heavy as a single sheet of paper. Despite their size, being a hummingbird is no small feat. As the smallest migratory birds, hummingbirds can fly non-stop for 800km, stretching about 500 miles.

Known for flying solo, they’re also one of the only animals that can migrate without company. Aside from their remarkable flying skills, what else is there to know about the world’s tiniest birds? Watch on to find out in our Hummingbird Facts video!
