For anyone getting message: "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot"

First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.

All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

  • CharMaine Added Mel, I read the comments. I don't think a lot of these folks understand how things work. Like you have no control over music (choice of volume) or identifying (within the video) what the short-cut is for. You have absolutely no control over anything except selecting and embedding the links you post. 330M people in this country (a lot of them tech illiterate) and you will never make even most of them happy. If they don't like the link, all they have to do is close it and move on.
Know that a lot of us, even if some don't make any comments, do appreciate the entertainment you provide daily. I know it takes time, money and effort and I (we) do appreciate you very much. Thanks for the entertainment, education, joy and laughter your videos selections offer. Let me buy you a cup of coffee . . . :-)
  • Ron Added Why do you attach a link to watch the video on YouTube if the link doesn't work?
  • Mary Jane Added I find these videos' very interesting, though I probably will never use most of the tips. Good choice and I loved the music the maker chose.
  • mimi Added There are some great ideas in the video. Also it was nice to see a woman performing some of the work.
  • Kathy Added Didn't care for the music at all. Difficult to figure out what the tips were supposed to be helping with.
  • Marty Added Mel, while I do love these videos, a couple of .... AHEM ,,,,, suggestions. First of all, lose the music. Of course, I turned my speakers down. Second, put on the screen what these things are supposed to do or be before the actual video. Third, some of these are very ingenuous and I guess that there are people out there who can't afford a simple electrical splicer from Home Depot, but the time to make some of these things would defeat the purpose of saving a few pennies. Otherwise, THANKS for an interesting journey!
  • Lola Added It make's me wonder how some of these simple looking things, are ever thought up!!! They are so handy to know!!!! BUT.......I could never remember all these helpful thing's to do!!!
  • VLK Added I was distracted by the music--sorry Mel.
  • Bill Added Yankee injuniety at its finestEf7
  • M Leybra Added What tips? I must've been distracted by the exciting music.
  • Sher Added Excellent tips and GREAT music! :)
