  • Fred Added colorized
  • Janelle Added Enjoyed. Prefer b/w but don't mind color.
  • Deborah Added thanks for a view of the past...
  • Lois Damron Added Thanks for the memories. Loved these old cars and stations
  • CharMaine Added Love this vintage stuff. $.25 & .27 a gal, can you imagine! When men were men. Women were women. And the country was civilized, respectful and respected.

Corrupt moron politicians have destroyed our once-beautiful country (thanks to the idiots that keep them voted in. Wake up America.).
  • nick Added black and white brings you back in time the way it WAS
  • Paul Moshay Added Thank you for your great old times brought back to life. I do like them in B&W but a few in color sparkles up the show. I worked at a gas station when I was 14 and bought my first car, yes in CA you could get your learners permit at 13 1/2. Gas then was 17.9 per gallon.
  • m.marshall Added i was born in 1943 but always had a fascination for cars my grandfather had a graham page and my mother has an old chev
  • Lou Added I was born in the '30. I'll take them color or black & white. They bring back so many beautiful memories..
  • Mary Jane Added These were before my time and my father didn't drive. But they were pretty cool to see.
  • iotus2 Added Great to see those classic cars in such wonderful condition. Good old Detroit iron!
  • kilopolk9 Added LOVE IT..
  • Annette Added Black/white or color - just love to see these. My father was a mechanic so I got to see/visit lots of places with him. Thanks again for a wonderful trip down memory lane!
  • mercedes Added I see in the comments that most people prefer B&W versus color. Either is fine with me, however the color brings everything to life!! Loved this video!
  • Randy Ferguson Added Great video! I loved the old cars and the old gas stations. I remember the days when the gas stations had employee's (like me) that pumped the gas and then collected the money. I also remember the gas pumps that you had to crank before you could pump the gas. Ah, those were the days my friend.
  • Martin Added Black and white is okay, it does seem to be more authentic, but color is cool as well. One thing that struck me was that, I didn't know that the warning about gas containing lead dated back so far. I saw it on some pumps from the 30's. I thought that was a relative new warning. It was interesting to see a "slice of history". Thanks Mel!!
  • John Added Cool----B
  • greg Added good video. better in black and white
  • Carole Added I think black & white is fine. More authentic.
  • Doug Clem Added The video of the early service stations was "THE BEST"!! I'm a vintage car restorer, and loved the video!! I have a restored 1932 SHELL station at the end of my hobby shop, so your video was very interesting!! I encourage you to do more "I remember when" videos of dealerships, and service stations!! Thanks, and keep the great videos coming!!
