All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

Gluay Hom, an 11 year old male elephant, gained notoriety when National Geographic exposed the distressing conditions he endured as a victim of wildlife tourism. Save Elephant Foundation received widespread calls to alleviate his suffering.

Upon investigating, they found Gluay Hom was in even worse shape than the images suggested. He was a broken-spirited elephant, and kept in appalling conditions at the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm, where animals were exploited for entertainment. He had been separated from his mother at a young age for circus training, suffered from malnutrition, spent his life short-chained on cement, and had significant muscle atrophy, particularly in his hind legs.

Save Elephant Foundation staff developed a deep affection for him and discovered he had a parasitic condition and a wounded leg. Gluay Hom was also asymptomatic positive for EEHV, necessitating quarantine and medical treatment. He responded well to medication, and his leg improved.
Although shy and lacking confidence, Gluay Hom's character began to emerge during his quarantine. He relished the nutritious food, gained weight, and began to show curiosity for his new surroundings. His joy was evident when he experienced playing in the water for the first time, something he had never encountered. As his confidence grew, he relished spending time in his pool and splashed about with great enthusiasm. He appeared to hold no grudges with respect to the past and embraced the kindness around him, appreciating the present moment.
