That is one very happy donkey . . . great "Mom" too, tending to his needs. Cute story, adorable family dynamic.
I was not surprised. He's doing his job, what he was probably bred to do. Killing the "squealing intruders" until they die. Smart donkeys like this one, can be trained to protect livestock from predators, like coyotes. He would be worth a lot of money to a farmer wanting protection for his herd.
