For anyone getting message: "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot"
First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.
All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description
There was a time in America when regular people would dress up in the finest attire simply to go out to dinner at their favorite restaurant. The evening would begin with drinks in the cocktail lounge, followed by dinner in the dining room, and would often include live music and dancing.
Back in the 1960s, America was prospering. People took pride in their appearance and enjoyed going out on the town not in sweatpants and pajamas, but in their finest clothes. Men wore suits and ties, and women wore dresses and heels.
People knew how to socialize and enjoyed mingling with others. Conversation was an art form, and people actually listened to what one another had to say.
Please enjoy this video of Americans out on the town in the 1960s.

- CharMaine Added This era was probably the quintessential American experience. We were living in peace. We weren't quite involved in Viet Nam yet, we were prosperous. And then the damn 70's showed up, radicals stepped out of their respective closets and we have never been the same America since. Pleased I can say, "I remember when . . . " Thanks for posting the trip down memory lane, Mel. Love ya for it.
