Description

Rescued animals never cease to amaze us. Homeless dogs saved from the streets or overcrowded shelters are loyal companions, they know how lucky they are to be rescued and the thing they want most is to be with you. This video realized by Howl Of A Dog in collaboration with American singer Cassandra Kubinski and Canadian voice actor Tony Daniels is trying to highlight the importance of adoption and raise awareness of the millions of shelter dogs, all over the world, who are waiting to find adoptive families. We got the chance to meet Cassandra last year, during a visit she had in Romania and we are very happy to be part of this beautiful project whose goal is to help animals worldwide. The song in this video is called “You Get Me” and it’s a very special one because it was written in order to encourage pet adoption and to support animal rescue organizations and shelters.

  • carol segal Added It's true, man's best friend!
  • Jennifer Added My rescued dog showed his gratitude by pooping in my best shoes, and peeing in my elderly dog's feed bowl... three times. And turning out to have a list of (expensive - very expensive) ailments as long as your arm. But I'm sure he is grateful enough to come visit me in the poorhouse from time to time.
  • Marianne Added What a wonderful job they are doing. Thank you for sharing.
  • Linda Johnson Added Thank you for this video ! I always enjoy those that show love and compassion for animals.
  • Patricia Added Great video
  • Mari Added Great video, Mel!!!!
  • Kathy Added Dogs are such faithful companions but taking proper care of them can be a challenge and expensive. I have had 4 bundles of fur so I know what it takes. Always consider what will be required to care for an animal for a long time.
  • [email protected] Added God gave us companions to teach us true love.
  • wanda miller Added There is nothing to compare to the love you get when you have a dog.
  • Mary Jane Added Loved it. Dogs need proper training and I know the Anti Cruelty Society in Chicago does a wonderful job and offers very low cost dog training.
  • Dan Added yeah you a right about some dogs, the ones i've rescued were not worth their salt. most ended up running away not sure where your located at but here in cali the SPCA and animal control charge so much much to adopt a dog really not a good deal when they aren't any good most people never go looking for 1 thats runs away from its new home they end up back at the shelter. I love the videos you send everyday thanks
  • Becky Added Dogs can be such a wonderful addition to any family, but please consider ALL the needs of a dog (or cat) before adopting one. If you never get any free time to walk your dog, or play with him, perhaps a goldfish would do... but I've seen pet owners that leave their dogs on a leash outside 24/7, and all they have to do all day long is bark at everything and whine while watching me walk our dog around the block. They want so much to be a part of things, and have fun. But if your home could accommodate a furry, loving, sweet and funny little bundle of personality, and you would be able to afford their upkeep, PLEASE consider opening your heart and home to a dog or cat that has no home, and sometimes no HOPE at all. Can you imagine being in a little cage all day, waiting for someone to love you? It breaks my heart!
