In the aftermath of the storm, the vast landscape is flooded.

The crossing of the flood waters brings disaster to the elephant herd as baby Kadogo and his mum are washed away. Nalla must lead the desperate search to reunite her family.

The baboon troop are trapped up their tree. Bakari leads the way as they all must take the enormous leap to the edge of the flood waters. But leaving Bibi behind will only cause more trouble within the troop.

Shani is also washed downstream as she tries to lead her family through the floods. As Punda races after her, will she be able to make it to dry land?
Aiysha, daughter of Kikay the cheetah mother from season one, is now a mother to four young cubs herself, including her fearless son, Duma. But it’s difficult to be brave during an unexpected encounter with Kali the lioness and some unknown male cheetahs.

Gnu is getting braver and sets off on an adventure of his own, but with Zalika nearby and another storm on the horizon, now is not the time to be alone.
Kali is frantically searching for her missing cubs but life without the pride is dangerous.
