    Squirrels do not approach people. I bet this little guy was found as a baby, probably alone, someone took him in and got him healthy and tried to release him in a habitat that they thought would be good for him. Unfortunately, once they have been integrated with humans, that is what they know and that is likely why he was so friendly. He can't be released in the wild anymore. I'm sure the rescue got him to a safe sanctuary. Kudos to the guy for coming back and doing the right thing.
