Animals That Asked People for Help #Video
For anyone getting message: "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot"
First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.
All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

- Judy Added This was a wonderful video! Once, when I lived in the country, a wild mallard came up the hill from our lake and approached me at my barn. He had one of those horrible plastic six-pack holders around his head and in his beak. I caught him with a net and cut the plastic off.
- Kathy Added I love animal rescue stories with happy endings. This was a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing.

- mercedes Added Great rescue stories!
- EssayT Added Rescued a kitten abandoned by his mother. It was deaf and blind in one eye. Today Maurice is a fat and sassy two year old treasure who has no idea he’s handicapped.
- Randy Ferguson Added I love these rescue stories! Sadly, they don't always turn out well. A friend of mine, Billy Wofford, who I knew since he was a little boy, grew up and moved to Florida. One day while at the beach, his dog got caught in a rip tide. Billy left his wife on the beach and went to rescue his dog, which he did, but Billy got caught in the rip tide and drowned. My heart breaks every time I think about it.
- Allie Werhan Added I am a cat foster for a local rescue group (Prescott, AZ) and I have found cats and kittens in many unsafe, unhealthy environments. I have been bitten and scratched, but never by the cats I was trying to rescue. Somehow, like the animals in the wonderful video, the cats know the difference between being rescued and any other activity.
- maureen w. Added Wonderful to watch. all of these animals learn trust.... thank God for that. One day my pastor and I rescued a Cedar Wax Wing bird, who was flying with her partner and was hit by a car. He partner died, but we were able to get this beautiful bird to a Rescue Shelter for birds here in RI.
