A new twist on a squirrel-proof bird-feeder. Okay, the feeder is really designed to be a Chickadee feeder. So far, it has worked. No squirrels were hurt in spite of falling about 12 feet after failed attempts at stealing bird seed. The feeder was installed months ago, and so far no squirrel has been able to get to the seed. They jumped on and immediately slide off to the ground 12 feet below. Ouch! Flying squirrels!
