First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.

All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

As responsible cat owners, there is a long list of things that we do for our cats to keep them happy, healthy and engaged. But, did you know there are many things your feline friend does for you every day? In this video, we will talk about 16 things that your cat is doing for you.

Comments

  • Jim Hamby Added My cat is afraid of my wife. My wife never lived with pets and does not want to be around them. My wife needed allergy shots for years. My cat, Chessie, meows a lot when she's hungry and a different meow when she wants to get attention to be petted, which lasts 2-5 minutes. She doesn't like to be on my lap and sometimes even prefers to go to the basement or outside rather than to stay with me in my room. She knows when it's time for her to be locked in the basement or outdoors at night or when I'm about to leave home (because that's when I give her a treat). There is a heated garage with a cat door for her when she chooses to stay outdoors. She loves to roam and hunt in the yard and never leaves our 2 acres. I got her 5 years ago from the animal shelter when she was 8 years old.
  • Sandy Kohn Added I don't have a cat at present, as I lost my Kitty 1close to 2 yrs ago. I will be getting a kitty this year.
However, I am a Cat Lover, & have experienced an extraordinary bond & relationship with my last kitty! They are extraordinary creatures! Thanks for your wonderful video which confirms
a lot of what I have already experienced as a cat owner!
  • Linda Arman Added Great video. Who Knew? (I have 22 presently and love them all.)
  • CharMaine Added Interesting cat observations. And now I know (more) . . . thanks for educating me, Mel. I don't know what I would do without you. :-)
  • BA Added I never was a cat lover (long story). About 10 yrs ago a small kitten appeared on our front porch, too small for the shelter to take. Ten years later, we still have her but she is the cat from Hell! She didn't like my 103 y/o aunts cat I adopted when my aunt died, The cat died 9 mos later. I just adopted a 10 y/o Siamese cat after the owners death. She is soooo sweet. Again, she isn't accepted by my cat from hell. I love them both and would never give them up.
  • Buck Added Mine saved me when the apt. next door caught on fire and the building's smoke alarms didn't work. Instead of calling to me, she got into my bed and pushed the pressure point inside my
elbow hard---no nails---until I awoke from a deep sleep. It was only after I awoke that the downstairs alarms went off. I was told the ASPCA had an award for Hero Animals---the firemen told me to call them as they said my cat should receive it. The ASPCA said, "we have an award for hero...DOGS."
  • KATE Added I could not be without my cats. They are my family
  • Deanne Added My cat is an essential part of my well-being. I love my cat and I know she loves me, too.

All different natured!!! My Calico is the most different~She does do very strange things at times that worry me~Maybe even scares me a little!! It's almost like a warning?!!?
