I’ve been on the dangerous road from Hana in Hawaii. We rented a car and took a major highway to Hana. Trying to return the same way, the highway was closed due to a fire. That left us with the dangerous Hana Road. We traveled it at night with six people in our car. The road is too narrow in many places for two way traffic. With many sharp turns and no guard rails it was a terrifying experience. There were many times we would have to back up to a slightly wider spot to allow a car to pass us. Several passes were so close that we made contact with each other. This lasted many hours with a lot of praying.
