Description

For your viewing pleasure and fulfillment, we’re slowing things down once again. We’ll be starting from scratch, digging into the nuts and bolts of our 1978 Kawasaki KE100 motorcycle top-end rebuild.
About 25 years ago, this vintage Japanese two-stroke bike was spared from a solemn fate at the dump. The previous owner was able to get it running again, but not well, spending the last couple of decades sputtering around in second gear at 20 mph. No more—Hagerty expert mechanic Davin Reckow came to the rescue and gave it a clean slate for the future.

Follow along as Davin and Hagerty video guy, Ben Woodworth, hash out the nitty gritty of the project in this installment of Redline Rebuilds Explained.
