Video Description:

Texas ranks highest in the country for animal shelter intake and euthanasia rates. Ant's Happy Endings rescue hopes to help alleviate those numbers, one senior dog at a time.

In memory of her late son, Jody French sacrifices her time and salary as a teacher to give overlooked senior dogs from local Texas shelters a happy final chapter. She hopes to grow her nonprofit into a healing sanctuary for people, veterans, and dogs in need.

She's a special woman to take care of the cast aside and broken dogs. All in honor of her son. I am so sorry for her loss. I'll chip in something. It's the least I can do for a woman that gives so much. All the kiddos look happy sharing life with her. I pray she has a vet that works with her as well. May the Lord bless her beyond measure. God is good. He will come through. I know Him. Thanks for posting this one Mel. :-)

As a senior, I thank you. May we soon have more research for, and distribution of inexpensive, easy-to-use Nonsurgical dog and cat birth control contraception products to help decrease euthanasia in overpopulated humane shelters.

This is touching for the love that Jodi has for these dogs who would have lived in loneliness and for her positive way of dealing with the worst experience in life, which is to lose your child. God bless her!

I love the dog videos you share! There is always a sense of love and joy in them and a selflessness on the dogs’ part and in the people they interact with. Great lessons for all of us, Thank you so much Mel!
