She had no idea this would be the first of hundreds of rescues.
When Leta freed a senior dog who'd been living on a chain, she thought she was changing one dog's life. Instead, the experience changed the course of hers. Inspired by him, she uprooted her life, moved to the countryside and dedicated herself to rescuing dogs in need.
And for one more dog, everything changed the moment he walked out that door.
This sweet boy had been placed on the euthanasia list when Kelsey stepped in to give him the chance he needed. The moment he walked out of the shelter, he never once looked back. From facing euthanasia to heading toward a forever home, his entire future changed because someone decided to say yes.

I love, love, love these kinds of rescue stories. God, thank you so much for the wonderful angels you give us throughout the world. They all have such big, beautiful hearts especially for the ones that don't speak our (human) language. But their eyes say it all -- thank you is constantly on their furry faces. I'm sure there are many we don't ever see videos about, and I thank you for those as well. And I celebrate each and every one of their lives. Ricky is a fine leader. Hello George.

What a rewarding experience it must be to know you have changed the world of a pet that had no choices of his/her own. Left alone and abandoned -- and now, living their best lives. All because people with big, beautiful hearts cared enough to do something about it. Got to be so thrilling to be a part of that transition. Your heart can't help but smile. God is good -- he put a lot of angels to walk amongst us.
