Featured on Speed is the New Black on Motortrend. A wealthy collector hired this high-end shop to build the car to match their 2017 Shelby GT 350. Only 1,180 miles since finished. This is a hot car- a performance 347 stroker under the hood, a 5-speed shifter coming out if the console and a list of other cool features. It looks new top to bottom.

EXTERIOR: Fit and finish is a 10! Professionally stripped and restored body in 2018. This is documented in season 2, episode 3. Excellent fit, no rust or damage. Shelby body mods include the fiberglass scooped hood, scooped front valance, side scoops and in back a fiberglass dove tail trunk. Sprayed with high end German Glasurit Wimbledon White and 5 coats of clear. It was then polished like glass. Painted on Shelby stripes are smooth to the touch. Other Shelby features include the taillights, emblems, gas cap, hood pins and grill with inboard lights. It looks like all the glass is new. 17 inch Shelby style wheels are wearing BFG G-Force tires. All the chrome, trim, weatherstrips were replaced. The power black convertible top looks new and has a glass rear window.

INTERIOR: Deluxe interior includes molded door panels, hard seat backs, upgraded upholstery and brushed stainless trim. It also has the Shelby roll bar and emblem. Deluxe console has extremely rare convenience control panel (warning lights). It also has a swing away tilt wheel. Down on the floor the carpet looks great, it has embroidered mats and pony seat belts. Everything looks practically new. The dash area sparkles. It has the factory tachometer and also custom pillar oil and volt gauges. There is a retro stereo with kick panel speakers.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Smeding Performance built 347 Cobra stroker motor. New Ford Sportsman block; blueprinted and clearanced. New forged crank, steel rods and forged pistons. State of the art bearings. Roller cam, aluminum roller rockers, roller timing gears. It was high speed balanced. AFR aluminum heads and an Edelbrock intake. It has a giant dual feed Holley carb and an MSD Ignition system. Front of the motor is fully decked out with billet brackets and pulleys, chrome alternator. It keeps cool with an aluminum radiator and water pump, dual electric fans and a polished overflow bottle. Features include power steering and power brakes. Every component looks new, everything looks properly installed. Clean metal with smooth paint.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb is glossy. New mat, well liner and weatherstrip. It has a jack, no spare.

UNDERSIDE: Completely replaced steering and suspension in front. Upgraded sway bar, lowering springs and a rack & pinion steering. Replaced rear suspension. Replaced brake system including lines, hoses and e-brake assembly. Upgraded disc at all 4 wheels, drilled and slottedin front. Neatly installed exhaust with welded joints and Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was completely replaced. Bottom of the motor has a chrome pan. Upgraded Tremec 5-speed trans with a billet flywheel and Centerforce clutch. Quick Performance rear end. The floors, frame rails, torque boxes are about the cleanest I've seen. Smooth metal, clean seams and spot welds. Painted in red oxide primer.

Service: We inspected the car and spent $1,070. We adjusted a hood pin, adjust top frame, replaced rear window rollers, replaced hood struts, replaced clutch slave and bled system, charged the a/c and realigned a/c pulley.

This is one of the exceptional ones. It checks every box- exciting, excellent, loaded. It looks and functions incredibly well!
