Video Description:

I colorized, restored, and created sound design for this rare 1930s film of Seattle, featuring car and trolley traffic crossing what appears to be the West End Spokane Street and SW Spokane Street Bridge. The footage captures the dynamic urban atmosphere of early Seattle, with bustling streets and everyday scenes along Avalon and surrounding areas — a vivid glimpse into the city’s past, brought back to life

Video Restoration Process:
FPS boosted to 60 frames per second
Image resolution boosted up to HD
Improved video sharpness and brightness
Colorized only for the ambiance (not historically accurate)
added sound only for the ambiance
restoration:(stabilisation,denoise,cleand,deblur)

Please, be aware that colorization colors are not real and fake, colorization was made only for the ambiance and do not represent real historical data.

Those crazy left-turners . . . had some speeders in there too. Those bridges were well constructed too. Had some nightlife going on. And everyone had a hat on. Wonderful trip to a distant past. City is radically different today . . . scary, radical different these days so i wouldn't hold too much pride in it. I've been there. Seen it first-hand. Not going back. It's unfortunate.
