This film not only preserves an intimate family moment but also highlights a rarely documented perspective of Black middle-class life in the early 20th century.

I would be thrilled to call any of these folks my neighbor and friend. Today's generations, not all but most, both black and white, are an embarrassment to their heritages. A wedding and an airplane ride -- woohoo!
