Rhubarb’s babies arrive! #Video

We have been waiting and waiting for Rhubarb’s kids, which came almost exactly a week late. But they were well worth waiting for. Two perfect fluffy doe kids. And they are extra sweet and easy just like their mom. The kids named them, Harriet and Honey.

We have lots of return visitors at the farm who come year after year with their families. It is extra special when we get to share a birth with folks who have been coming for so long. Today rhubarb had quite crowd gathered outside her stall as she prepared to give birth. With so many kids watching, I was extra relieved that the babies came out so healthy and so easily.

There are a lot of people who go their entire life without witnessing the miracle of birth. How wonderful for these families to share it together!
