There are some cars here I would love to have! And some really good examples of how to parallel park!
There is so much I could say, but I won't. I do wonder, however, if those $.25 for an hour of parking was considered "expensive". Today, with the one-party political control that state suffers under, it's more like $25 per hour for parking. Love the cars too.
Interesting! I don't think the last clip was from the 60's.
Wow that was a trip down memory lane for sure. I saw a Plymouth Fury, a DeSoto, a 58 Cadillac , a 49 Plymouth, and I swear I saw one Edsel parked alone. This was a trip for sure.
A whole lot cleaner than now.
It's changed a lot since then. I enjoyed seeing the cars.
The cars were cool, but didn't need 9 minutes of them,
Interesting video. The cars in the last clip looked like forties models.
Interesting trip thru LA. Loved the pink Ford Edsel in the first clip. Judging by the cars, most of the scenes were probably late 1950s, not really 1960s. The last scene in the residential area was definitely early 1950s, many old cars. I was born in 1948 and was really into automobiles in the 50s and 60s.
Yikes! I'm older than dirt because I remember the cars and the businesses and the sparse traffic and when women wore DRESSES to go shopping "downtown." I sorta' wish they could bring it back....
Veni, vidi, vinctus!
