Many fairy tales and myths talk about trolls that live under bridges. Usually these creatures are no good at all; even the character of Pennywise was originally conceived as a modern troll-like character. You've probably already guessed that today we're going to talk about... bridges. But we're not talking about paranormal situations. There's a lot of things about bridges, besides mythical monsters. Things that will make you smile and things that will make you scream. Are you ready? Well, then...

hello everyone many fairy tales and myths talk about trolls that live under bridges usually these creatures are no good at all even the character of penny wise was originally conceived as a modern troll like character you've probably already guessed that today we're going to talk about bridges we're not talking about paranormal situations there's a lot of things about bridges besides mythical monsters things that will make you smile and things that will make you scream are you ready well then let's get it on you've probably seen pictures or videos of wild goats climbing steep cliffs these amazing creatures could be spider-man's cousins however sometimes the urge to climb can also be found in ordinary domestic goats but what if there's no mountain nearby you can climb a bridge of course the problem is that going down isn't as easy as going up that's exactly what happened in Pennsylvania where two goats had to be lifted off a bridge beam with a crane and the help of a rescue team the poor animals were trapped for 18 hours but the story ended well the rescued goats were returned to the farm Joe why the pedestrian parts of the bridges are called like that well because they're meant for pedestrians right however this unknown Honda driver didn't seem to know all of these subtleties he decided to drive through the pedestrian zone that connects Brooklyn to Queens and he got stuck the incident took place after 3 a.m. so no immediate intervention was possible by the time the rescue team and the police had arrived the driver had already fled he probably went out the window because all the doors were blocks later it was discovered that the stuck car had been stolen the day before the accident it took several hours and special vehicles to get the vehicle off of the bridge we hope that the car was returned to its rightful owner after the incidents it's normal for some trucks to get stuck under bridges but how about a plane as absurd as it sounds this can happen too for example in Columbia this plane couldn't get under a bridge we must make it clear that the plane wasn't flying bus was being transported by land was this doesn't make the situation any epic the plane was being transported to an aviation Institute to be used by the students but something went wrong who would have thought that planes are too big to go under a bridge right in the end it was necessary to called in a rescue team but a stuck plane is not the most epic story in our video because we found an elite Cruiser that also couldn't pass up the rip bridge the captain of the luxury cruise ship the pearl number 7 crashed into a bridge in wenshu in East China the accident left two of the ships chimneys damaged which is not surprising because the ship is huge it's a hundred and fifty-eight metres long and seven storeys high operating this huge 44 point two four million dollar ship is not easy especially if there are bridges in your way perhaps the captain of the liner was used to ocean cruises and didn't expect to encounter an obstacle while traveling on the river by the way the collision was not only felt by the liner witnesses reported that the bridge was shaken by the impact children's and teenagers idea of entertainment can sometimes be very strange and even dangerous [Applause] a group of teenagers were throwing rocks from a bridge onto a busy road and they were caught on tape one of the stones broke the windshield of a car and a shard of glass hit the drivers eye a few days earlier they also broke the glass of an ambulance with a rock fortunately no one was injured but at least three people who were victims of the strange games went to the police according to the video the young offenders were very well prepared and covered their faces with hoods but the police were able to determine of the attackers were 12 and 15 years old all that remains is to catch them sports is good of course jogging is great but sometimes these athletes are not good human beings in 2017 a surveillance camera recorded a person running across a bridge in southwest London everything seemed normal but suddenly the athletes decided to push a woman who was in his way why would he do that we don't know that was plenty of room he could easily have passed by ER but instead the anonymous runner decided to remove the obstacle and as a result the 33 year old woman not only fell who was almost hit by a bus the story could have ended very tragically if that driver had not maneuvered right on so him fortunately the woman was not injured about 15 minutes later that jogger went back over the same bridge and the victim tries to talk to him to find out why you pushed her that a man didn't even stop it's like he didn't even recognize her unfortunately despite a thorough investigation the police were unable to find out his identity if you've ever seen a drawbridge you've probably thought how great it would be to jump over it think Hollywood and computer games for that but real attempts to repeat this trick often end very tragically fortunately this story recorded by a security camera in Florida had a happy ending notice that the driver approaches the bridge without slowing and then breaks the protective barrier and jumps over the almost open drawbridge fortunately the bridge hadn't risen completely but don't think that it was on purpose chances are that the driver 29 year old James Montano took his eyes off the road for a few seconds and just didn't notice clearly a mistake you should not repeat as a real miracle that no one was hurt sometimes the word almost is the best way to describe the situation almost reached it almost made it almost got it this is definitely one of those situations in a video recorded in Miami a yacht called the rock star has a pass under a bridge that have been raised especially for the occasion it seemed to be a common practice that a closer the yacht got the lower one parts of the bridge went they say it was because the bridge wasn't raised properly for this no longer Masset because the bridge and the yachts were about to collide maybe it'll make it maybe the yacht can get through at the last minute come on but unfortunately it didn't make it the impact caused considerable damage to the yachts but none of the 15 passengers were injured and the story might have ended more tragically if it weren't for the bridge operator thanks to his 20 years of experience he was able to prevent the bridge from falling suddenly what do you expect to see on a bridge in Australia cars pedestrians hell basa wallaby this must few pele mammal is smaller than a normal kangaroo but it still doesn't usually qualify as a road user this wallaby was filmed by Australian police in Sydney in the morning hours officials assumed the 13 kilogram creature had arrived from a golf course about three kilometres from the bridge and don't be surprised who knows maybe this wallaby is a professional golfer one of the most famous bridge incidents is the collapse of the Tacoma bridge the narrow Tacoma bridge was built in Washington in the 1930s and opened on July the 1st 1940 it was designed to be the most flexible bridge in the world and the engineers believed that everything was perfectly calculated the bridge was considered absolutely safe but in the end it was discovered that not all factors were taken into account on November the 7th 1941 wind hit the area and the bridge was heavily shaken the first accident occurred around 11:00 a.m. affecting the concrete surface a few minutes later a 600 meter section of the bridge came loose by then the bridge was swinging wildly back and forth as if it were dancing and finally it collapsed surprisingly the process was recorded by Barney Elliott's owner of a local camera shop in 1998 his footage was included in the National Film registry even today images of the collapse are Shone's engineering and architecture students to warn them of potential mistakes every summer hundreds of people gather to see the world's largest urban bat colony flying from under the Congress Avenue bridge in downtown Austin Texas because 1.5 million bats live in this place when engineers rebuilt the Congress Avenue Bridge in 1980 they didn't know that the new crevices under the bridge would be an ideal place for bats 4 years later there was already a whole colony at this site at first the locals were horrified and with good reason only Batman would like a neighborhood full of bats but gradually people became convinced that these terrifying creatures are not that dangerous and on the contrary they're good for the economy all thanks to the tourists it come to turn to see this unique show honestly after the kangaroo on the bridge we thought nothing would surprise us anymore and so we found a video with a bear and amazingly enough it wasn't shot in Russia but in Alaska the young bear calmly opened the doors to separate the rural area from the residential area and decided to take a walk on the which we assume that he just wanted to see the water but the bear didn't limit himself to contemplation he also broke several boards for research purposes of course well last but not least a video recorded in Indonesia while fishing the locals found something under the bridge that didn't look like a fish the fisherman caught a biker and his bike unfortunately we don't know how the guy ended up in the water with its vehicle the main thing is that he was pulled out in time and even the engine seems to be intact hey stop being lazy it's time to use that brainy oars welcome to brain time incredible facts from the past the present and even the future the power of nature and wild animals amazing facts and unsolved mysteries you'll find all this and much more hair subscribe now you won't regret it [Music]
