On December 23, 2023, Grandma Siri was rescued from an elephant riding camp and welcomed to her forever sanctuary home at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

Since her rescue, we have witnessed a beautiful transformation in Grandma Siri, thanks to the love and care provided by our team at the sanctuary. Free from onerous duties, she now roams freely, embracing the simple pleasures of life.
